Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Hotels from Home mobile application ("App") operated by Hotels from Home ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Hotels from Home is an event planning and experience creation app that allows users to create themed events (hotel stays, dinner parties, and couples nights), manage menus, entertainment, activities, and invite guests through share codes.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for: maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials; all activities that occur under your account; providing accurate and complete information; and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create within the App (event details, menus, guest lists, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through the App. You agree not to create content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive; infringing on any third party's rights; fraudulent or misleading; or containing malicious code or spam.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App; interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure; use automated systems to access the App without permission; impersonate any person or entity; or harass, abuse, or harm other users.
6. Event Sharing and Guest Access
When you create an event and share a code, you are responsible for who receives that code. Guests who join via a share code will have access to the event details you have created. Share codes expire after 7 days for security.
7. Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications related to event activity (e.g., guest RSVPs, room service requests). You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Hotels from Home and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Hotels from Home is an event planning tool. We are not responsible for the actual events, food safety, or any real-world outcomes of events planned using the App.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hotels from Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
11. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Profile screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
